SMPS Golf Recap
SMPS Austin Chapter held their First Annual Golf Tournament at Grey Rock Golf Club on April 19th, 2012. The tournament was a huge success with just over 50 players in attendance. The players had the unique opportunity to play alongside several esteemed guests representing leaders in our Central Texas Community including Jim Bechtol and Kirk Clennan with the City of Leander, Jimmy Disler with LISD, Mark Fowler with Trammell Crow and Rob Roy Parnell with Texas State University System.
Tournament play was followed by dinner, networking and awards ceremony. A portion of the proceeds was given to the SMPS Foundation to support their research and education efforts promoting the value of marketing in the A/E/C industry.

June Lunch & Learn: CRM Roundtable
Please join us on June 21st for a lunch and learn on Customer Relationship Management systems (CRMs). Lunch participants will participate in a roundtable discussion on the pros and cons of CRM Systems they are currently using, and tips, tricks and interesting methods they have learned for their systems. This program is ideal for people wanting to explore the different options that are available before deciding on a system, or changing to a new one; as well as giving those who have already been through the process an opportunity to share their knowledge and experience with other participants. This is the first roundtable that SMPS Austin will be offering. If this format is ideal and helpful to members we could look into doing a series of roundtables on different topics in the future. We welcome your feedback.
This roundtable will be open to all members. Non-members are also invited to participate. See registration details below. We are holding this event as an open discussion to look at all the options. There will be no sales pitches made at this event.
